Through the NBSO Nantes we received the opportunity to connect with the French and international composite ecosystem, show our capabilities and promote SAM XL and TU Delft. It was great to be a part of this acknowledged B2B convention.
Our automated fibre placement and our continuous ultrasonic welding solution got a lot of attention. Both advanced manufacturing processes will enable the use of sustainable composites. And as the leading research institution in the ultrasonic welding technology, we will continue to advance this towards full scale implementation in the industry.
It was enthralling to connect with the European industrial partners and technology centers from the composite industry, as well as from the aviation industry, e.g. Airbus Atlantic, DAHER, IRT Jules Verne, Safran – Aircraft Interiors . We were thrilled to see a strong Dutch presence of SMEs and our national partners.
