During a visit of a Dutch delegation for the NXTGEN Hightech project, we demonstrated our progress towards fully autonomous, smart robots.

For automation to be successful, it is essential for a robot that the virtual world corresponds to the actual physical world. That normally requires manual programming. We are working on programming robots in such a way, that they scan a large, double courved surface and configure themselves accordingly. In other words, the robot can adapt its processes autonomously, enabling flexible processes for smart manufacturing, maintenance and repair of large surfaces.

We will continue to work towards the next step in zero-defect robotics. Read more about the project here.
