Look at these proud faces! The first step in the assembly of the multifunctional fuselage demonstrator has been taken! The very first weld with the conductive weld end effector was performed on a test panel, under the large gantry at SAM XL. It worked out pretty fine, so soon the tests can start on the actual thermoplast fuselage. Many more experiments to come!
