Opening Centre of Excellence -> op de exacte datum zetten
The TU Delft 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Centre of Excellence is now officially open. This event marks the start of a new phase in the collaboration between Delft University of Technology, Dassault Systèmes and SAM XL.
Collaboration
This centre will bring together students, lecturers and scientists from TU Delft and from research institutions and industry partners. Together learn the digital skills of the future and collaborate on innovation together, supported by platform-certified instructors. By equipping tomorrow’s talent with digital tools applied in industry, we empower them to build the economy and infrastructure of the future.
We will run a first pilot at SAM XL utilizing the 3DX platform in our development of robotic continuous ultrasonic welding technology.
A special mention to the student teams Formula Student Team Delft, AeroDelft, TU Delft Hydro Motion Team who demonstrated how they used the Dassault tools and to startup VÆRIDION for showcasing how they aim to transform regional air travel with their 100% electric aircraft.
The opening of the TU Delft 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Center of Excellence was announced at the Paris Air Show in June 2025. On 6 November, the collaboration won the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗥-𝗡𝗟 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 from the French Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands.
